Bakelite is a trademark name for an early type of
plastic material made by heating phenol or cresol with formaldehyde and ammonia
under pressure. It was used mainly to make radio cabinets and molded
plastic ware in the '40 and '50's.
15' Japanese seed beads were mostly used for
"Trumpet Vine & Bakelite". The other accent beads include
vintage and contemporary Japanese and Czech beads.
